CEO & Partner Linda Wong will serve as a Panelist for the LIWOCA 2022 17th Annual Leadership Institute for Women of Color Attorneys Conference in Atlanta, Georgia, on March 24th. The session, “Masterclass with Managing Partners,” will discuss financial lessons learned through the global pandemic, expectations in employee salary negotiations, and rising above the competition.
The key mission of the conference is to present speakers and workshops that will inspire and empower women of color attorneys to go beyond the glass ceiling and be agents of change in their organizations and the greater community.
In 2005, LIWOCA was formed as a 501(c)(3) organization, hosting its first national conference that same year in Atlanta, Georgia. The first conference hosted more than 100 women of color attorneys for 2 and one-half days in Atlanta and was a huge success. The speakers who came from all over the United States presented to women who were inspired, mentored and had an opportunity to network with some of the most successful attorneys in the nation. The need for the conference was confirmed and over the last decade LIWOCA has continued to host hundreds of women, many of whom describe the conference as the most professionally rewarding event of the year.
