This #GivingTuesday, donate to help make quality health care accessible to all.
For over 50 years, the National Health Law Program (NHeLP) has fought to protect and improve access to health care for low-income and underserved people in the United States. They are leaders in advancing health rights in policy arenas and enforcing them in the courts. They fight discrimination in access to health care because they believe that everyone should have access to quality, equitable health care regardless of their income, race, ethnicity, sex, gender identity, sexual orientation, age, disability, immigration status, nationality, religious beliefs, language proficiency, or geographic location.
The COVID-19 pandemic exacerbated the existing disparities and inequalities in our country’s health care system. The end of the public health emergency is quickly approaching, and there are many threats looming that will adversely impact the communities NHeLP serves. NHeLP is rallying their resources to keep fighting to protect and defend health care access for the people who need it most, but they will need help.
As proud members of the NHeLP Board of Ambassadors, we are committed to supporting NHeLP’s efforts as best we can. We have launched a fundraiser in support of NHeLP’s Rise Up For Health Rights Campaign. Our goal is to raise $5,000.00 by December 31st to support NHeLP’s work. Can we count on a donation from you to help us reach our goal? Please visit our personal page at https://bit.ly/WongFleming and make a donation of any amount.
Please join us in rising up for health rights and helping NHeLP advance their health equity vision: a society where individuals of all identities and backgrounds in our country have the health care and resources they need to thrive. Thank you for your generosity and support! We are grateful for your consideration.
Best,
