Daniel Fleming and Linda Wong, Partners of Wong Fleming’s Princeton, New Jersey office, presented a seminar on the recent election and the limitations of powers of the President to withdraw from treaties, issue and cancel executive orders and congressional executive agreements, and affect international law and policy.
Wong Fleming’s European Alliance Partner, Schomerus & Partner, hosted the presentation on December 12, 2016 in its Hamburg, Germany office.
This timely presentation, “How President Trump Can Affect Your Business and Your Future,”
discussed how America’s 45th
President might affect business in Europe, in general and Germany, specifically. Clients of Schomerus & Partner along with the members of the Hamburg Chamber of Commerce and several German Trade Business Associations were in attendance.
Mr. Fleming and Ms. Wong led a discussion after the presentation on what German businesses can do to prepare for, and even take advantage of, changes that President-elect Trump has promised to implement.
